Hi, I’m Amelle.

I’ve been dreaming of this moment my entire life. As a child I would play spa, performing services on my friends and family. God bless my dad for letting his nine-year old daughter slather “wax” (Vaseline) on his brows and then quickly (and gleefully) pull the tissue strip away.

I opened this studio because I believe the experience of getting waxed should feel like a treat - not something clinical, and definitely not something to endure.

I’ve worked in Portsmouth for years, building relationships with clients who kept coming back not just for their exceptional results, but for how they felt leaving. I’ve heard the words, “calming”, “gentle”, and “warm” used to describe my aura.

When I'm not in the studio you'll find me with my husband and our little one, which makes every quiet moment in this space feel even more intentional.

I grew up just minutes from where this studio sits, opening a space here feels like coming home. Amelle Esthetics is everything I always wanted to create - a private, calm sanctuary where every appointment feels like an opportunity to breathe deeply and be kind to ourselves.
